Engineering consulting services (Virtual / At Hanyang University / At your facility)

Our engineering consulting services focus on rotordynamics and bearings to ensure the smooth operation of your turbomachinery system. With expertise in analyzing and testing rotating machines, we have worked on a diverse range of systems, from small turbines with a 5 mm rotor diameter at over 500 krpm to automotive turbochargers exceeding 300 krpm and cryogenic rocket engine turbopumps.

 Rotordynamics and bearings/seals/dampers
Utilizing a combination of in-house analysis tools and industry-standard software such as COMSOL, XLRotor, and Dyrobes, we conduct mandatory analyses and employ unique techniques in our analysis approach. Dr. Keun Ryu and his graduate students deliver independent, reliable, and accurate rotordynamics and bearing/seal/damper analysis and design.

Bearings/seals/dampers component level Testing & Full rotor system testing

We apply state-of-the-art rotordynamics tools and instrumentation to diagnose and rectify problems in rotating machinery, as well as to design new equipment. Explore our facilities for more information. Facilities.

Short courses for engineers and technical professionals (Virtual / At Hanyang University / At your facility)

We offer private instruction and various intensive short courses on rotordynamics, fundamentals of fluid film bearings, and gas bearings throughout the year. These courses draw from Dr. Ryu's class notes, technical papers, and comprehensive literature, including case studies. For more information, contact Dr. Keun Ryu at kryu@hanyang.ac.kr or +82-31-400-5242 to design a short course tailored to your needs.
