About Turbomachinery Laboratory at Hanyang University

Creating technologies to improve efficiency and performance in propulsion and power systems


The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Hanyang University, established in 2013, conducts fundamental and advanced research on performance and reliability of modern turbomachinery for government and industry entities in a state-of-the-art facility. We perform comprehensive measurements and predictions of the rotordynamic characteristics of turbomachinery. We also focus on experimentally validated computational fluid film models for the prediction of the static and dynamic forced performance of fluid film bearings, seals, and dampers.
