About Turbomachinery Laboratory at Hanyang University

 We are pioneering technologies to enhance efficiency and performance in advanced and emerging propulsion and power systems. As specialists, we engage in research, development, design, and analysis of rotordynamics, bearings, seals, and dampers. Our expertise extends to extremely high-speed rotor systems, thriving even in hot or cryogenic temperatures, encompassing rocket engine turbopumps, microturbines, and turbochargers. OUR MISSION:

 We provide practical, comprehensive, and innovative engineering solutions by conducting fundamental and advanced research on the performance and reliability of modern turbomachinery in a state-of-the-art facility.

OUR FOCUS:
 We concentrate on experimentally validated computational fluid film models to predict the static and dynamic forced performance of fluid film bearings, seals, and dampers. We conduct extensive measurements and predictions of rotordynamics for modern turbomachinery.
